Foundation Learning - Community

This programme is for anyone wishing to go in to the caring professions but who have not yet established their next steps. Learners will gain a combination of credits/units from Health & social Care and Caring for Children awards/certificates.All learners will work towards Functional Skills qualifications in Maths, English and ICT.

Progression routes and qualifications, BTEC level 2, a Diploma in Health and Social Care or a Health and Social Care Apprenticeship in the workplace.

 

Entry requirements

• You must be between 16 and 18 years old
• A satisfactory reference from your school
• You will need to have an interest in the vocational area covered in your course
