Summary

Our T Level Management and Administration Level 3 course will arm you with real-world experiences alongside building the core knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress into the world of management and administration.

The T Level in Management & Administration combines classroom learning with a range of practical experiences from guest speakers, through to trips and visits. You will also undertake a valuable Industry Placement to apply your learning and gain ‘on-the-job’ experience.

This two-year T Level course will build your understanding and application of skills in the following areas:

Year 1 (Core Year):

Business Context
People,
Quality & Compliance
Finance,
Policy & Procedures
Project & Change Management,
Business Behaviours

Year 2 (Occupational Specialism - Team Leadership and Management):

Lead, Manage and Develop Individuals & Teams
Build Relationships with Colleagues, Customers & Stakeholders
Deliver Core Operational Tasks
Manage and Implement Projects
Apply Governance and Compliance Requirements

Industry Placement

To compliment in class learning you will also over the period of the two year course undertake a 315 hour (45 day) Industry Placement with an employer, this will allow you to put your learning into practice and gain valuable business insight to support your learning and development.

Entry Requirements

You will need to have achieved 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language and maths and to have attended a successful course interview.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this two year programme of intensive study you will gain a qualification equivalent in size to 3 A levels which is recognised by higher education providers as meeting admission requirements to many relevant courses.

Assessment

You will be assessed in both the first and second year of the qualification via externally assessed exams, each year’s results contributing to your overall qualification grade:

Year 1 (Core Year)

Employer Set Project (ESP) – Similar to a controlled coursework assessment

Year 2 (Occupational Specialism - Team Leadership and Management)

Synoptic Occupational Specialism Assessment – Similar to a controlled coursework assessment

Progression

Many students use the T Level course to go onto Higher Education (University) to study a range of academic courses including Business Management, Accountancy, Marketing, Journalism, and Event Planning.
It can also be used to undertake combined business course such as those with a language, year abroad or with a year in industry.

Career Progression

Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress onto a career in many different sectors of business and industries, some successful students are offer permanent positions at their Industry Placement organisations on completion of the qualification.

Students also use the T Level to access Apprenticeships in areas such as - Retail, Customer Service, Banking, Sales & Marketing, Leadership and Administration.

Others have used the knowledge, skills and behaviours to work independently as Entrepreneurs.

Fees

If you are a UK or home fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course, tuition fees are free.
