Congratulations to all our students receiving results for A Levels, T Levels and vocational qualifications!
Paston College students have posted another strong set of results this year, with many students achieving outstanding grades. Overall, 68.5% of the A Level grades achieved by Paston students were A*-C grades.
Among the many students celebrating getting on to their first choice of university course was A Level student Martha, who achieved two A*s (in Law and Sociology) and an A in Criminology.
Martha, who is looking forward to starting a degree in Social Work at UEA, said:
I felt very elated and very relieved and very surprised as well, because I was not expecting that."
Martha continues:
Paston has provided the best support that I have received in an educational setting. The teachers are lovely and communicative and the lessons were really involved. It was never just the teacher talking at you, there was always a great dynamic between the teachers and students. They are very attentive, and they clearly care about their students.”
Fellow A Level student William achieved straight A's in Business, Geography and Maths, and is now looking forward to starting the Actuarial Science degree course at UEA. William said of his time at Paston:
It’s been amazing! The environment and the people that surround you, they are all there to support each other."
Craig Osborne, Head of A Levels, said:
We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our students who come from across North Norfolk to study at Paston. For most, this was the first time they had sat a full exam season. Considering the lasting impact of Covid disruption on all students’ learning, it is particularly impressive that over 40% of Paston students' grades were either A*, A or B. This is a testament to their hard work and dedication, and we wish them every success with their next steps.”
