Paston College Students’ Union
Being at college is as much about your personal development as your academic studies. Qualifications are vital, but qualifications on their own are not enough.
We have a dedicated Students’ Union (SU) to support you during your studies. The SU is made up of every single student at Paston College and City College Norwich. Once you enrol, you automatically become a member of the SU who will make sure that your voice is represented and that you enjoy your time at college.
Duke of Edinburgh Award at Paston College
The Duke of Edinburgh award is the world’s leading youth achievement award. It gives young people the chance to develop skills for life and work, fulfil their potential and have a brighter future.
You can complete the Silver or Gold award with us by taking part in a wide range of exciting activities from rocket making to yoga! This award is highly regarded by universities as it shows a strong level of commitment, determination and teamwork.
By completing the Duke of Edinburgh award you will be learning new skills, making a difference in your local community and challenging yourself.
Student trips abroad and in the UK
Depending on the subjects you study, there are opportunities to attend a variety of trips abroad or closer to home. Our students have visited a variety of attractions, including:

Visiting Speakers programme at Paston College
To help you discover what career path you want to follow, we offer a visiting speaker programme which allows you to attend sessions run by industry professionals throughout the year. Whatever you’re interested in you will learn what the career is really like from the people actually doing them.
